Nothing like rolling out of bed to witness the sky on fire at the break of day. This shot was taken in the botanical gardens at the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute. My summer work in 2017 gave me the opportunity to witness breathtaking desert sunrises virtually every morning. I’m very excited to see what I can capture Summer 2018!
